    Hey Lynn, I find that LinkedIn has great fodder for targeting markets and, yes, forming alliances. Like all social media networks, however, if you don’t have a vision/a business/a product to begin with, social media is often putting the cart before the horse.

    I was one of those people who didn’t think LinkedIn was as effective as Twitter, but frankly, I am a convert. I get more traffic from LinkedIn than any other social network. It is more targeted and definitely not as “noisy”.
